Neighbor kids always are in our lessons! they are crazy!! love em
All things are good here. We are going to baptize 3 families. We had 15 of our investigators at church, which is a record! We are so blessed. I love my mission. No doubt this is the best time of my life! I have met so many amazing people and I am African for sure!
I have been with my father(elder Lloyd), and my son(Elder Lassig) all this week and it has probably been the most successful/fun week of my entire mission! I love it!
Went to some Sketchy hospital to check on a member who got hit by a car and saw in 3 different occasions guys convulsing on beds and then stop and then people screaming and throwing themselves on the body... wow.. I am scarred... I saw people with limbs missing and blood all over the floor and what not, and it smelt like dead, rotting, animal flesh...
a member was walking on the side of the road and a car hit her and drove off. She broke her femur, 4 ribs and punctured her lung. She also bit her tongue off and lip, and broke her jaw in 4 different places as well as fractures her frontal face bone on the side of her nose... Her face was so swollen I couldn't see her eyes or nose... I didn't even recognizance her. It was horrible.. She was unconcious when I arrived. She didn't recieve any medical attention for almost 12 hours... I felt so bad for her and immediately started to cry. Her sister, brother and her, are all preparing for missions and work with us... I know them so well and It was so horrible to see them all in the way I did...
But I pray that all will be well and I know it is in the Lords hands. We are so blessed to live were we do and blessed for so many things. I hope we all can take time to appreciate the blessings in our lives...
