(to his mom) This week has been awesome I have been loving and serving the people of Mbale and doing all that I can to show them I care about their success! I learned the service from you! You would always serve me even when I was a punk and it made a big difference and softened my heart so much!! Even today we were playing card games together and telling stories and having so much fun. When I was taking reports from the district leader he really opened up like never before and we now know what they need and will show them we care. To fix the problems in their obedience and struggles we are trying to teach them by love and showing them love rather than just getting upset and demanding change. I fasted prayed and studied long about this and I have seem incredible changes!!! I love my new companion elder mkutswana from johannasburg South Africa and we are expecting a lot of success. We have a baptism this week and 3 the following Amdahl are working on 2 weddings and more baptisms. The Lord has blessed us with powerful miracles! Wow last night was the best night of my mission!!! 1 miracle after another!!!
Haha we also got In an accident. Nothing major,but a botabots crashed into the side of the truck.. Dented the driver door in mad we tried to take him and the bike to the police, but a mob came and wanted to beat us so we had to flee with the man who said he was the owner. We kinda forced him into the truck and at the police station he changed and said he was rescuing us from the mob and he doesn't own the bota!? Haha funny experience!

Wow where to begin. First of all thank you so much for the email and the great advice! There have been some problems in this area and I have been praying and fasting as to how I was going to fix these problems we were having and immediately I thought of you dad. You are my role model in my life and my leader. And the reason why is because you were always so interested in my success and concerned with me and serving me and loving me and were my best friend. Because of that I wanted it make you proud and I look up to you as my leader. I am trying to lead the, like you have led me in my life...Christ works from the inside out. Satan and the world work from the outside in... Last transfer it was an " outside in" approach and I really felt that we needed to switch it up mad work from the inside. That's why we are becoming their friends and serving them and loving them and in turn they are working hard, they are allowing us to help them mad it has been incredible to see the changes...Alma 31:5 says "now as the preaching of the word had a greater tendency to lead the people to do that which was just yea, it had had more powerful effect upon the minds of the people than the sword or anything else, which had happened unto them-therefor alma thought it was expedient that they should try the virtue of the word of God"Dad you never beat me, you never swore at me or yelled, but you taught me correct principles and lead me by your example of living the word of the God and that had a more powerful effect on me than anything else... I would feel so horrible when I could see that I hurt or disappointed you because you are my best friend...This is the approach I am taking with these elders and it is working. Father thank you for your example that I am using to lead in this mission.... I owe everything to you and I know that God will be proud of you and mom for the way you reared me up I'm this life.
