This is the Kids and the Women that will be married on Saturday! I
love this family!
aiesha's baptism
Work has been so busy for me! The wedding that we have been
planning for has finally come! this Saturday we will go to Jinja to
get them married! They are so excited and they are the best family!
The Gospel has changed them completely! they were just living together
because of the kids and didn't talk to one another and didn't love one
another, and he talked about her leaving and all of that, but through
the teachings of the gospel in the family they have been awaken to the
true love of Christ and through Geofreys change and his behaviors in
the family and to his wife, she opened up and listened to us. now they
come to church together for the 1st time in their lives! they hold
hands and love one another.. it has been incredible to see! I have
learned so much... and am so excited for their wedding and then for
their baptisms this month. We are preparing 10 people for baptism and
trying to set baptismal dates for about 7 others! the work is rapidly
moving! We are teaching so many people it is hard to fit them all in
our schedule!!! I love it! We are teaching doctors, and pastors and
families and professors and so many wonderful intelligent established
people! High caliber and I have watched as the Gospel of Jesus Christ
and the message of the Restoration has brought them to Conviction!
False Doctrines have been silenced... Once you understand that the Old
testament was written to prepare the people for Christ and that the
New Testament is a record of Christ organizing his Church and
establishing it so that all the children of men can become 1 and be
edified and led by revelation, and even that most of the New testament
is letters written by the leaders of the church to ensure that the
branches they established were running things according to revelation
which the Prophets and Apostles received so that the philosophies of
men do not corrupt Christ's Church. Once you understand the Bible you
will understand that is is a literal blue print to Christ's true
church. You can hold that blue print up to any church in the world,
but they will not contain all the elements of his true church which he
said there is only 1.(eph 4:5) They only church in the world that will
fit the blue print to Christ church in the bible is the Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are the only Church in the World
that got our religion by revelation and we use the Bible to prove it
is true! If you learn how to tell our story, you will never have to
argue with anyone. We are the only Church in the world with a prophet
and 12 apostles and receive revelation from God! Revelation brings the
Gospel of Jesus Christ, just as God has done from all the prophets
from the begging. The Gospel is the "power of God unto the salvation
of any man who believe."(Rom 1:16) it is simple... we need to Gospel
to get salvation. The Gospel is taught by prophets through revelation.
No Revelation=No Salvation. And we are here on earth to achieve
Salvation. That is the reason the join the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints. This is Christ's church. He leads us and gives us
the Gospel through the Prophet Thomas S. Monson. This is the Only
Church that will bring us Salvation. If one doesn't believe in our
Church of the message we share it is simply because they don't
understand the Bible and the Doctrine of Christ is they did they would
be the one's the Lord calls the ELECT! I know this church is true and
that the Lord will come to Redeem those who follow his Gospel in his
Church by his Revelation. Those not of this Faith ask yourself, where
am I getting the Gospel. Is it by revelation? I testify that those who
Follow the Prophet follow Christ. Just as times of old, those who
reject the prophets reject God. I know that We are led by God himself
and this is his Church. If you want to know if what I am saying is
true, and I know it is, don't take any man's word as enough evidence.
Ask God himself if what i have said is true and He will comfort you
and you will know by that comfort and peace that The power of the Holy
Ghost has come upon you and you know where to find Salvation. In The
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
