Week 34, Gulu, Uganda

(Elder Halladay and his zone!)

Elder Erickson and I fasted with one of our Branch missionaries who is also one of our Recent Converts, for a man Named Christopher. He has 6 kids and 2 orphans and his wife has been stuck in the village... he hasn't been able to find work for 6 months and the kids haven't been able to go to school or eat... We went to see him and he was extremely Depressed and down. He said that he had no where else to go and that he doesn't know what to do. We were inspired to talk about fasting with him and found powerful scriptures to help him see God's vision for Christopher. We resolved to start a fast. And by doing so we IMMEDIATELY started receiving miracles. That same day of the Fast a random man from Kampala called and offered him a job, and the teacher to his kids told him to send the children to school and his wife made it back from the village with many sacks of beans and potatoes... It was a Miracle
