Week 36 | Gulu, Uganda

to log-I am training again. wow for the 3rd time in a row! haha I love it though. the kid is legit. from zambia. a little energetic bean pole! I am teaching him english as well so it takes some time but i love training. I am still the zl in gulu as well. man you rolled? that is legit! is the rzr okay? haha and you of course. i can't wait to do that with you at home. man i have so many funny stories to tell you when i am back. time is flying man! We are teaching so many families so it's awesome! how is the fam? How is our theater room/gaming room looking? love ya log!!!

 to Alex-yes you did make me a quote book. i use it all the time and have wrote so many quotes so thanks. when are you going to start popping out real kids? did you know that elder lloyd, my trainer that went home, is getting married in January... what the heck! so weird. I eat so many crazy things. I have cow stomach and intestines this week. hope all is well at home love ya sis. ps don't forget to keep my movie list updated.

to dad -This week was awesome dad! I found out that i am staying as the Zone leader in Gulu, and also that i am training again! I love it. My companion is Elder Phiri. he is about 5'9 110 pounds and from Zambia! he's the funniest kid and we have a good time. I am also teaching his how the speak English, so it is a little challenging, but i am ready for anything. We have 2 baptisms this week, will have 4 this next Sunday, and another 4 after. Father we are finding powerful families which has always been a struggle here in Uganda, but the Lord is blessing us. we are building the church here in Gulu, because they need a lot of help. They are doing great, but they are just learning by trial and error. so the week is great. I love teaching. I wake up and just want the go!! Sleeping and eating bother me and just take up too much time! haha 

You will do great with the calling dad. I know it will be alot of work, but just be as creative as you can. I know that the lord will help you. I will pray for you most definitely!!! haha I am super jealous of Colorado. i wish i was going with you pops, but I am grateful to God that he allowed you to go. you deserve it. we have a lot of time too. don't get old and lazy and not want to hunt anymore. or ill kill ya. Can't wait to see the cabin in person!

And this isn't a for sure but there is a good chance that i will come home on Christmas Eve because I came at the end of a 3 week transfer. they are supposed to be 6 weeks, but they had a weird one. so I will be extended or they will take time off? I don't really care, but I thought i'd let you know. there is a lot of time left. Love you dad! miss you like crazy!
