Week 37 | Gulu, Uganda

mission is great. it is humbling to be teaching people that have so much trust in you... whatever i tell them they do... religion is everything to everyone here. everyone knows the bible better than i know how to say my name!!! i love it though because i now know the scriptures too. the people are so humble. there is nothing i love more than teaching by the spirit. when you can feel God working through you and you are saying things that you didn't even know but you are receiving revelation it is incredible. I have seen miracles. i have seen things happen that no way would ever happen, but just cause God can he does them. I have literally have God answer exactly what I asked and I just sit back and laugh and say no way!!! the greatest success I feel I have had on my mission is the families that i have taught and baptized and are still coming to church. i wish all of them would always stay and not leave, but they do. I don't know off the top of my head but of the 40 or so people I have baptized I think only 5 are Less active. It kills me that there are the 5, but all i can do is pray they come back. that is my focus. the establish the church. the bring people who will help the church instead of burden it... i look for future branch presidents and relief society presidents. It has changed my mission and changed me. I am the same old goofy kole, but I have allowed God to mold me into a true servant.
